This basin is compact, but sturdy and looks expensive. The trap on the bottom even my plumber commented on, and how high a quality it was. Really pleased with this basin and really pleased with the service and help received from Victoria Plumb.

    Stunning

Having never had a vanity unit before, I was a little apprehensive. Shouldn't have been, looks fantastic and the vanity unit part leaves the room looking very very neat and tidy. Great quality, good gloss to it, and a very quiet short flush. Impressed.

Reclaiming your Bathroom after a Break Up - 6 Top Tips

Posted on: 20th Feb 2015

OK. So we've indulged in the schmaltzy romance of Valentine's Day, but as we all know the course of love never runs smooth. Inevitably, some relationships run their course and end in a break up. The majority of us, at one time in our lives, have ended up calling it a day with a boyfriend or girlfriend, or worse, been unceremoniously dumped! Whether this leaves you feeling down in the dumps, relieved or even ecstatic, one huge positive can be taken out of the situation: Your new found freedom means you can now revamp all your living spaces - starting with your bathroom! When the heartbreak is at its worst, there is nothing more therapeutic than getting things back to the way you like them. So if you're newly single, now's the time to swing into action and follow our 5 top tips to reclaim your space! 1. Get that scrubbing brush out! If you've ever heard of the famous song "I'm gonna wash that man right out of my hair" from the musical South Pacific - the sentiment is more than accurate when it comes to your bathroom! A good day of cleaning and cleansing will certainly help scrub the place clean, free of any lasting traces of your ex-partner. It's extremely therapeutic! Get those rubber gloves on and get into the grouting with a mix of bleach and water (use his/her old toothbrush if they left it behind!). Wipe all your surfaces clean and scrub your taps, windows and mirrors to ensure a sparkling finish. And for heavens sake, throw away any old toiletries or reminders of your ex! You certainly don't want an old deodorant canister as a permanent reminder of your lost love! 2. Reclaim your Style Did your ex dominate the bathroom design with their own tastes and furnishings? In most cases a shared bathroom has to be fairly neutral when it comes to decor

Save money & space with our NEW & EXCLUSIVE MySpace Eco Shower Baths!

Posted on: 19th Feb 2015

Lack of storage in your bathroom? Concerned how much you’re spending on water bills? If so, our Product Designers here at Victoria Plumb have come up with something truly ingenious that could help you save both money and space! With the average water bill set to hit the £400 per year mark for the first time, we all have concerns about how much water we’re using. Couple this with a lack of space and suddenly our bathrooms aren't quite the haven of relaxation they should be. But worry not. Our innovative Product Design Team have been working hard to address precisely these concerns. The answer is the revolutionary MySpace Eco Shower Bath! New & Exclusive to Victoria Plumb. Eco Shower Baths explained Shower baths are becoming increasingly commonplace throughout the UK, as they offer a great space-saving solution, where you can enjoy the option of an invigorating shower or a relaxing bath. Modern shower baths usually feature a wider showering end and screen. This allows for a greater range of movement when showering, but when it comes to bathing, the wider bath requires a greater amount of water. To overcome the issue of increased water usage, our new MySpace Eco Shower Baths have retained all the best features of regular shower baths, such as the wider end aiding body movement when showering, but we’ve kept the bath element the same width, meaning no additional water is needed for a deep and indulgent bath. Like many ideas, it is the simplest that are the most effective, and this innovation will save at least 40 litres of water for every bath taken when compared to a regular shower bath of similar dimensions

Take a look at our January Share your Style Winners

Posted on: 16th Feb 2015

The New Year has certainly brought some great new bathroom designs from Victoria Plumb customers! Despite the horribly cold weather we had throughout January, there was no let up in the wonderful bathroom designs our customers uploaded to our Share your Style competition page. In fact, seeing our products being used in such wonderful settings made us feel all warm inside! As always, our panel of expert judges took many things into consideration when judging the competition - use of space, on-trend designs, general decor and finishing touches all played a part in our final decision. Winner We're delighted to reveal that Tessa Gammon from Swansea wins the first prize of an iPad mini with this eye-catching design! Tessa's bathroom certainly had us all a little "green-eyed" with jealousy. With plenty of space to play with Tessa has used some daring shades of green as accent colours, coupled with both dark and lighter wood shades. A very bold but very impressive move! Tessa chose to go with a more traditional style choosing her bath and toilet, but the wonderful Bali Counter Top Basin hints at a more contemporary style. As we mentioned in our Bathroom Trends for 2015, feature flooring, such as Tessa's wood effect tiling, are certainly gaining popularity. Tessa was delighted when we told her she won. She explains more about her design: What a lovely surprise, I am so glad my bathroom won January`s competition. We have an old Victorian house and I have wanted to do the bathroom for some years to keep it in keeping with the house. I have seen your advertisement on TV and went onto your website to find out more

Luxury bathroom suites from Victoria Plumb

Everyone wants to have the perfect new bathroom, and often that comes down to the suites that they choose. But, what makes the perfect design is often very personal – a sleek and contemporary look might be the style of choice for some whereas others might prefer a more classic or traditional feel – but whatever you’re looking for in a bathroom set, with our extensive range of style options you can be confident that you’ll find it here.

Here at Victoria Plumb we offer a range of luxury bundles in every style and design, including stylish toilets and desirable basins, ensuring there’s something that suits your tastes perfectly. Whether you prefer the sleek lines and modern look of contemporary bathroom sets or want something with a more classic or traditional feel such as a white ceramic set, you’ll be able to find exceptional standards that will give total satisfaction.

Designer suites for all environments

Whenever you’re designing your new bathroom it’s important to find a range that totally suits the space as well as your personal preferences. There are a number of design challenges that you’ll face, particularly in a smaller room where small suites will be needed, because you need to make sure that you’ve got bathroom sets that fit seamlessly into their new environment.

Suites for small bathrooms are available and are perfect for compact rooms that are short on space, but this doesn’t mean you have to settle for second best. Small bathroom suites are simply economical in their design to ensure you get the most from your room, with shower bath suites being a common request. The great thing about shower baths is that you can still get a sleek and contemporary look without having to opt for a separate shower cubicle, and with small bathroom suites such as this you’ll feel that your room is much bigger than it actually is.

It’s important to be selective. You want to make sure you’ve got the best room possible, so choosing a suite that suits the room and your style is a huge consideration. You might like to opt for separate shower enclosures or perhaps you want a roll top bath for traditional glamour.
