    Great Cloakroom Set

We bought the basin and toilet to go into an en suite shower room. The set looks very modern and because of its size there is now more room than previously having taken out a standard sized set. Very happy with product, delivery and service from Victoria Plumb.

    Toilet

A good looking and well made toilet . Agree with the other comments about the seat. It's not great to sit on but the actual fixing is the best I have come across and you can remove the seat just by pressing two buttons.

Why choosing a Good Quality Bath is so important!

Posted on: 27th Oct 2014

When the time comes to update our bathroom, there’s a world of new features revealed to us. From the whirlpool bath to the walk-in shower, installing a modern bathroom can be a process which brings plenty of positive changes with it. One of the most exciting and enjoyable additions to a bathroom is the bath tub itself. This is the rock upon which a dream bathroom is formed. Here, we take a look at the benefits of a good bath; giving several reasons why investing in a quality design will do wonders for the overall success of your bathroom. Relax & take it easy Many of us today use our bathrooms as a space based primarily on utility. We'll take our morning shower, clean our teeth and move on. A bathroom on which you've spent time can be as enjoyable a space as your living room or bedroom. On those long days when you arrive home from work and need nothing more than a long period of relaxation, it’s to your bathroom that you should turn. There are few things more relaxing than stepping into a deep and warm bath with a glass of wine and a good book

5 things to consider when choosing your Bathroom Tiles

Posted on: 21st Oct 2014

With a wide range of tiles available for your bathroom, it is all too easy to be overwhelmed by the variety on offer. With a huge choice of materials, not to mention colours and patterns, how do you focus in on the tiles that reflect your own personal tastes? These days, tiles are the wall and floor covering of choice in the modern bathroom. Carpeted floors and wallpapered walls are very much out, with tiles providing any easy clean, hygienic surface that is simple to maintain, hard wearing and good looking. When choosing your bathroom tiles here are 5 things you need to consider: 1. Make your Bath a Stand Out Feature If you have a bath adjoining one or more walls, a tiled area surrounding the tub is definitely the way to go to give it stand out appeal. Simple white tiles can be used here or even a travertina or beige coloured wall tile will help highlight the area and help waterproof from splashes. 2. Get down & funky with your Floor Tiles Whilst a little more hardwearing than wall tiles, floor tiles needn't be boring. Indeed, these days you can experiment with wood-effect tiles to give your flooring a distressed and aged look. If you're going for a monochrome style, then why not opt for plain black and white bathroom tiles, to create an interesting chess board theme

Modern Bath & Shower Options

Posted on: 15th Oct 2014

As the old Bob Dylan song goes "The times they are a-changing", and nowhere is this more true than in the nation's bathrooms, with more and more people ditching the traditional bathtub for a space and water-saving shower. With our busy lives in these modern times, it's much quicker and more convenient to hop into an invigorating shower, rather than having to spend time filling a bath for our morning wash. The days when whole families took it turns to have a weekly wash in the tub are gone and people now expect a shower to be in place pretty much wherever they live. And for those with restricted mobility, such as the elderly, climbing into a bath simply isn't practical. However, for those of us who still love our baths, this doesn't mean our options are cut down. On the contrary! In fact, these days there are more options than ever! No need for compromise Whilst a shower potentially takes up less space, a bathtub may still be a necessity, especially when it comes to young children who need their daily bath routine, and as we get older, a bath is very welcome addition when it comes to soothing away those aches and pains. With specially designed shower baths, that come with extra space at the shower end and a screen to prevent splashing, coupled with robust and beautiful tiling, you can have the best of both worlds when it comes to bathing and showering. Even a regular straight bath can be adapted with a handy folding bath screen, to house a modern shower. The great thing is, these days, there is a choice to suit almost anyone when it comes to the design of your bathroom. Modern shower options If it's a shower you're after, there are now a variety of walk-in shower enclosures, which come with very low shower trays and no doors, to help aid accessibility

5 Big Ideas for Small Bathrooms

Posted on: 30th Sep 2014

Not everyone has the luxury of owning a large bathroom, but if your bathroom or cloakroom is short on space, you can still make the most of your room to create an elegant, yet functional space. Every bathroom, no matter how small, has the potential to be transformed into a modern, attractive room. By using just a few simple design principles and by installing the right furniture and accessories you can create a space that will really impress. So if you have a small bathroom, take a look through these 5 simple tips to get some big design inspiration! 1. Declutter and simplify Nothing makes a small bathroom look more complicated and confusing as the disorganised mass of everyday objects, such as toiletries, bottles and ornaments. If you simply cannot bear to reduce the clutter, then optimise your storage by buying new bathroom cabinets and hide it all behind closed doors. Alternatively, choose a few selected objects that work well together as design accents and display them on carefully chosen surfaces, such as window ledges or shelves. 2. Create a fluid interior design In the same way that you should declutter all the small objects stored in your bathroom, you should also think about the overall effect of your bathroom's design. A small bathroom can be transformed into an elegant space with simple, clean lines and contemporary features, so keep patterns to a minimum and choose attractive finishes, like a large natural stone wall and floor tiles

Designer bathroom suites for all environments

Whenever you’re designing your new bathroom suite it’s important to find a bathroom suite range that totally suits the space as well as your personal preferences. There are a number of design challenges that you’ll face, particularly in a smaller room where small bathroom suites will be needed, because you need to make sure that you’ve got bathroom sets that fit seamlessly into their new environment.

Bathroom suites for small bathrooms are available and are perfect for compact bathrooms that are short on space, but this doesn’t mean you have to settle for second best. Small bathroom suites are simply economical in their design to ensure you get the most from your room, with shower bath suites being a common request. The great thing about shower baths is that you can still get a sleek and contemporary look without having to opt for a separate shower cubicle, and with small bathroom suites such as this you’ll feel that your room is much bigger than it actually is.

Shower bath suites of course aren’t the only option, and if space isn’t a problem you’ve got free reign when it comes to choosing bathroom sets. But, it’s still important to be selective. You want to make sure you’ve got the best room possible, so choosing bathroom sets that suit the room and your style is a huge consideration. You might like to opt for separate shower enclosures or perhaps you want a roll top bath for traditional glamour.
