Product Description

Our Dual Fuel Elements can be used in all of our Heated Towel Rails except for the traditional range. This offers the opportunity to have a Heated Towel Rail installed even if you do not have a central heating system. Please follow the advice carefully in the Dual Fuel Element fitting instructions. For Heated Towel Rails that are connected to a central heating system it allows you to still have warm towels during the summer months when the heating is off. For installations without a central heating system first put half a cup of corrosion inhibitor i.e. Fernox in the towel rail then top up with clean cold water until the radiator is 90% full. This will allow for expansion once the water is hot. The top rungs will get warm but not as hot as the lower part of the towel rail this is normal due to the expansion gap.

Useful for when your central heating is off during the summer months.
Element comprises of an electric element and chrome T piece which allows an element and rad valve to be connected to the same side of the heated towel rail.

Your electric bathroom radiator must be fixed to the wall and permanently wired by a qualified electrician. You must not have any plug in or removable sockets/plugs in your bathroom (with the exception of specially designed shaver sockets) and therefore this product is not supplied with a wall pin plug. We recommend that you follow installation zone regulations when planning the location point of product.
This product comes with an IP55 (also know as IPX5) protection against water rating see IPX ratings for further information.
Electric heaters should be controlled by a pull cord or switch outside the bathroom.

    Good Company

    I have used this on line company a few times now and have found that they are very competitive price wise and deliver on the day they say. I used to be in the trade but am now an OAP who has updated our bathing facilities to cater for our future altzemiers.
