A member of the Victoria Plumb team has taken on the challenge of the Big Zip which was held at the KC Stadium in Hull on the 20^th June 2010.

The exhilarating event which flew you 150 metres across the pitch from a staggering 26 metres high at the KC Stadium was attended by 95 people and has hoped to have risen in the region of £15,000.

Samantha Reah, a Victoria Plumb employee who took part in the event said “Although it was quite a scary challenge, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The scariest part was the getting up to the starting point, but once I had set off I thought it was brilliant. I have raised £140 for Marie Curie, which is a great charity to have done this for.”

The Hull Big Zip was just one of the events that Victoria Plumb members of staff are planning to take part in over 2010. With many more events lined up Victoria Plumb are hoping to raise a lot more money for this incredibly valuable charity.
