As of the 30th of April 2009 Victoria Plumb is now secured by Sage Pay (formally Protx), all online transactions will be taken using Sage Pay’s extremely secure payment system. Please read the following for more information:

Hello

A lot has been going on at Protx over the past few months, so I’d like to take this opportunity to share some exciting news.

Investment

Over the past two years Protx has doubled in size, both in terms of its customer base and its people. We owe thanks, of course, to our loyal customers and partners, but without the investment and belief in Protx from Sage, we couldn’t have grown at such pace.

In 2008 we invested heavily in our data security and recovery systems to ensure a robust and reliable service. And we’ve recently taken our first steps towards being able to offer better ways to manage business finances by integrating our mail order and telephone facilities with Sage 50, Sage 200 and Instant Accounts packages.

Innovation

We’re always working to enhance our payment solutions, but are now moving towards more sophisticated integrations with Sage to enable customers to reconcile bank accounts or link to their payroll software via our payment platform. With this in mind and because we want all of our customers to benefit from working with one of the UK’s most trusted business brands, we’ve decided to take our place within the Sage family and change our name to Sage Pay.

What will change?

After the switch on 21 April 2009, our services will be as reliable as ever, but you will notice some improvements, including:

24/7 telephone and email support

Premium fraud screening packages

Merchant services offering

Outsourced payment solutions to help you become PCI DSS compliant

24/7 support is a particular milestone for us as a business. From 21 April, no matter what time of the day or night, our advisors will be on-hand and ready to help.

All of our telephone numbers will remain the same, but we will send out further information shortly to ensure that you’re fully aware of new email addresses, our banking details and any technical information.

We really hope you’ll feel the benefits of working with Sage Pay. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Kind regards

Simon Black Managing Director
