Architect George Clarke returns in 2012 for a second series of Restoration Man on Channel 4. Thursday 19th January’s episode of Restoration Man saw Phil and Joanne Evans undertake a huge financial gamble when they bought a Grade II-listed, gothic revival parish church in the Eden Valley. Their aim is to turn it into their dream home.

However disaster strikes early on in the build and the implications are huge for their tiny budget. George is on hand to give them both practical advice and a reality check when the costs spiral out of control and threaten to halt the project.
